Name:Sara Journal: Awesome days in America Date:July 24th-July30th Before our trip began,I hardly ever travel without my parents in a foreign country. For me,it was definitely a meaningful experience. Seeing the journey coming back to an an end, looking back on the past ten days of beauty and touched ,I have a lot of feelings to say. We went from New York to Boston to washing for D.C. We really went for a long way but we were always happy. New York was our first stop, and I was looking for it most.We took a boat ride to the statue of liberty, walked in the wall street and the central park, and visited the United Nations. We also visited the Empire State Building, the site of the world trade center and the Columbia University. In addition,my favourite segment was a stroll down fifth avenue and a visit to Rockefeller center, where I bought some chocolates as a souvenir. I love the hustle and bustle of New York. I think it’s the representative of the big city and the symbol of the city’s development. I wished could be here again. Compared to New York.Washington D.C. was a bit more peaceful and quiet. Here the sun is just shining, the shy is always blue, and white clouds leisurely. People here can always see the white pigeons fly over, squirrels in the green lawn grazed happily. Of course, the Capital and the White House, they are so magnificent and represent the sediment of American history. There are many great museums in Washington DC,too. For example, the National Air and Space Museum, the national museum of natural history and the National gallery of art are the good ones for us to learn something meaningful. So that I love the atmosphere in Washington D.C.and I love the museums there.I think when we get older,we can enjoy the beauty of Washington D.C better. About Boston,to be honest,we didn’t stay there for too long .It’s really a great city, especially for young people, but we regret that we only visited a few famous universities, like the West Point, the Harvard, and the MIT. I liked the MIT best, especially liked its campus atmosphere very much.I wished I could study hard and get in there one day. What’s more, I also went shopping in Woodbury—the biggest outlet to buy something really nice.
